The history of the Burwell family is here

The only evidence that he served comes from the tryptic in Fulwood Church. In 1901 he was an ironmonger’s apprentice and ten years later was living in Beverley and working as an assistant in an ironmonger’s shop. By 1921 George had returned to Fulwood, living with his mother on Brookhouse Hill. He was working as an Audit Clerk for the Ministry of Health. He married Annie Mabel Barber in 1924.

He died in January 1966 at Wisborough Green in Sussex.
