Ebenzer Parker had Storth House built in the early 1850s and he lived there until his death in 1862. He and Mary had a large family of 15 children! Their second son, Alfred, emigrated to Norway and there are descendents of the Ebenezer alive there today

What particularly struck me was that Ebenezer was twice Mary’s age when they married – and that Mary’s first pregnancy was so advanced when they wed. And then 14 more children…
